Astronomy 20: The Solar System is an exploration of the planets and moons of the solar system. In it we learn about the eight large planets and seven large moons, including a particularly interesting world called Earth. We also study the great controversy about whether the Sun or the Earth is the center of the Universe—the Copernican Revolution, marking the beginning of modern science.

Astro 20 has no math or science prerequisites. Only a minimal amount of high school algebra is used. The course is transferable to CSU and UC.
